Online Chat 2
The online chat at Tapped In was great! I was delighted to see Hiromi, Yuki, and Mimaki from AGU2006, and thrilled to meet Kana Y. and Ikumi from AGU2007. Sophia, one of our mentors, also joined us for a while. As the AGU students are in the midst of studying for and taking their final exams, I was very happy that they took time out to attend the chat. I am looking forward to meeting Ikumi, Kana, and the others f2f (face to face) on August 2 at Dulles International Airport!

Online Chat July 20-21
The internet makes many things possible that I never dreamed of when I was young. Online text chat can link people on several continents for a real-time conversation. I have already chatted online several times with members of AGU2006. I am planning a chat this week, at 10-11 pm Friday July 20 here in Maryland, which is 11 am - noon Saturday July 21 in Tokyo. The chat will be at Tapped In, an online community of educators, in my virtual office. For detailed instructions as to how to log in and find the chatroom, see my posts on the discussion groups or email me. I am looking forward to meeting you.

How to Leave a Comment on the Blog
It's very easy to leave a comment on this blog! At the bottom of each post, you can see "Posted by Nina Liakos at (time)", followed by "0 comments" (or "6 comments", or whatever). Click on the word "Comments."
You will see all the comments people have already left on that post, if there are any. You will also see a box with the title, "Leave your comment." Type your comment right into this box. (Be sure to include your name so we will know who you are if you choose "Anonymous" below.)
Since you are probably not a registered Blogger user (yet), you can choose "Other" (which opens up a little form for your name and/or webpage) or just "Anonymous."
If you would like to preview your comment, click on the blue "Preview" button. Then you can change it. Or just click on "Publish your comment."
